Join Lykke Books for a free author event with Vicki Pieser, historian, educator, and author of Jews in Germantown: A Diaspora in Brown County, Minnesota.
Vicki will share more than just her book, offering insight into women’s roles, identity, and the lived experiences of Jewish families in rural Minnesota. As the daughter of Jewish immigrants who grew up without the support of a synagogue or large Jewish community, her work weaves personal history with broader cultural context.
Her background includes teaching sociology and women’s studies, working in juvenile corrections, and serving as Director of the Brown County Historical Society.
