About the event
Join us for a fun 8-week group ukulele class on Saturday mornings! Participants will learn new songs each week, including foundations for strumming patterns, chords, and performance practice. Choose between learning one of three songs each week, or a more traditional curriculum track.
The class will culminate in a low-pressure open mic-style event to showcase each participant's learning.
All skill levels welcome! Geared for ages 10-18; however, younger participants may attend as long as a responsible adult is also participating.
Instruments are available for use; registration is required, and the class is being offered free of charge thanks to a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Complete this link to register.
