Book-Rista

Cross-trained - Barista at NU Brew Cafe & Bookseller at Lykke Books

Part-time (10-15 hours/week)

Requires every other weekend (Sat/Sun) at minimum

This new role will be one of our core leadership team alongside our Lykke Books coordinator (Tammy) and owner/manager (Brie). The role will also be cross-trained as a Bookseller at our sister store, Lykke Books and will enjoy staff discounts and other perks at both stores.​

​

Lead Barista duties include:

  • Progressive responsibility

  • Recipe development

  • Supply management & ordering

  • Policy & Procedure development (with Owner support)

  • Social media management

  • Staff mentoring

  • Event room coordination

 

There are also opportunities to get involved with other aspects of store management such as marketing, financial management, and other areas of interest.
